An employee who sustains a disabling, job-related traumatic injury may request continuation of regular pay for the period of disability not to exceed 45 calendar days or sick or annual leave. 
The injured employee has initial choice of physician and may select any qualified local physician or hospital to provide necessary treatment or may use agency medical facilities if available. 
An employee is entitled to medical, surgical and hospital services and supplies needed for treatment of an injury as well as transportation for obtaining care. -

When an investigator is able to capture video evidence of the claimant performing activities outside the scope of their physical restrictions, set by their physician, the subject matter must be reviewed by their doctor. If the activities are, in fact, deemed outside the scope of their prescribed physical restrictions the video may provide evidence which weakens or even stops payments of the workers compensation benefits. Stryker has the ability and equipment to capture video; both, covertly from a vehicle and in person, with concealed cameras and when appropriate in rural communities we can deploy drones to monitor a subjects departure.
